Salvation Army Donating Medical Equipment To FODAC

The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta is now donating all of the medical equipment it receives to FODAC. “I’m making weekly trips to their central facility and coming back with half a truckload or better,” explains Donations Manager Lloyd Ames. “Items that they used to sell in bulk are now being donated to us. We’ve gotten at least 10 shower chairs every week along with wheelchairs, walkers, and other items. This has become a critical relationship in helping us reduce our waiting lists.”

Testimonials

“My son and I have problems with our back and he has a brain tumor and is starting to walk and he needs a walker. The one he has is not so stable so he needs another one. I have had surgical removal of kidney stones. I have trouble with my leg, knee, and hip so I need a walker to help me walk because of this. I called FODAC and they located two walkers and a raised toilet seat. They will be a great help to us. Thank you.”
