Points of Light volunteers

In August, a volunteer team from Points of Light, a non-profit organization connecting volunteer groups with volunteer opportunities, lent its talent and energy to Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC). The group of eight spent a half day tackling various projects at the Stone Mountain facility, including sorting inventory in the thrift store and organizing medical supplies in the warehouse. FODAC provides home medical equipment to the disabled and their caregivers at little or no cost to the recipients.
