Keeping People With Disabilities Moving Capital Campaign
The $1.5 million Keeping People with Disabilities Moving Campaign has at its core one central objective – to improve FODAC’s effectiveness in serving the community. We are excited to be at 76% of our goal and ancicipate getting a matching grant this month to help us get there. Please watch our social media and website as we will share this when we get the news.
With FODAC’s recent 30th anniversary, its leaders, staff, and board of directors are poised to strengthen the organization’s capacity and operations. As a result, FODAC will expand services to enhance the quality of life for people of all ages who have any type of illness or physical disability in Atlanta while setting a national standard in reuse.
The three overarching goals of the campaign include:
- To Increase Service and Efficiency by creating a warehouse that reflects industry best practices, improves processes, and increases safety.
- To Protect the Future of the Organization by reducing operating costs to grow our reserve fund, and sustain operations and programming for future clients.
- To Propel Green Initiatives by installing solar panels and other green energy updates to the facility so that the environmentally friendly principles that FODAC was founded on is reflected equally in its largest asset – the facility.
