Purpose of the Conference
This conference is designed to showcase innovative strategies that AT Reuse programs have found to work within and in collaboration with Centers for Independent Living (CILs). Discussion will center on identifying new skills and specific needs of reuse programs within CILs that need to be addressed. Information will be provided to expand and strengthen CIL Reuse programs, particularly as they relate to quality services, emergency preparedness and program sustainability.

Who Should Attend
Staff of Reuse Programs within Centers for Independent Living, AT Reuse Programs, and the Statewide AT Act Programs, representatives from disability organizations planning and operating reuse activities, AT vendors, other partners and collaborators of Reuse Programs and anyone interested in AT Reuse.

Share Your Expertise & Experience
We strongly encourage our CIL and AT Reuse partners to share their AT Reuse expertise & experiences by speaking or participating on a panel. A scholarship will be available for out-of-state speakers. Please check the agenda and e-mail Liz Persaud at if you are interested in speaking.

A block of sleeping rooms has been reserved for Tuesday, December 11 through Thursday, December 13, 2012, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, 800 Spring St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30308. The rate is $129.00 single or double plus tax per night. The cut-off date for making your room reservation is Friday, December 7, 2012. Conference Registration
If you are paying the conference registration fee with a credit card use the online registration process through Eventbrite at If you are paying your registration fee with a check please visit the conference website to fill out the registration form and follow the instructions on where to mail your check. Eventbrite can only accept credit card payments. Please, register by Friday, December 7, 2012. A registration fee of $200.00 will be charged each conference attendee. The fee will help defray the cost of the continental breakfasts, lunch and refreshment breaks. There is an additional fee of $45.00 if you require transportation to/from the optional pre-conference tour on Tuesday, December 11 of the AT Reuse Program at Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) which is located in Stone Mountain, approximately 18 miles from the hotel.
