FODAC Remembers Captain Herb Emory

Captain Herb Emory talks to FODAC Board Member Aimee CopelandFODAC joins the rest of Atlanta in mourning the recent passing of WSB Traffic Reporter Captain Herb Emory. Known for his tireless efforts on behalf of numerous charities, Captain Herb took over as emcee of FODAC’s Breakfast With Santa following the passing of fellow WSB personality Mike Kavanagh in 2008 and continued in that role every year through 2013. He was a big hit with all the kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Karen and the Emory family along with his WSB co-workers. Testimonials

My brother is 55 years old, has moderate Downs Syndrome and now has suspected Lewy Body dementia. He recently moved in with my family. We have been unable to get a walker for him with Medicare/Medicaid. My friend recommended FODAC to get what we need for my brother. I am glad this organization exists.
