Mountain Park. Stone Mountain Golf Club features two championship golf

Mountain Lake.

Funds raised from the event help support FODAC’s mission to supply home
medical equipment (HME) to the mobility impaired and their caregivers. FODAC
serves the Metro Atlanta community by providing recycled equipment such as
wheelchairs, scooters, walkers and hospital beds for children and adults during
or after a health crisis. Last year, FODAC donated over $10 million in
equipment to the disabled community at little or no cost to the recipient. FODAC
also provides support in the wake of disasters; recently, the organization was
onsite in Houston supporting HME distribution to flood evacuees, and has also
recently shipped equipment and supplies to Puerto Rico to help those
recovering from Hurricane Maria.
Breakfast and onsite registration starts at 8:00 a.m.; shotgun start is at 9:30
a.m.

The Rotary Club of Stone Mountain is managing this year’s event, helping to
secure sponsors and providing volunteers to set up and work the event.
Title sponsor for this year’s golf tournament is Combined Services, Inc.; other
sponsors include CDI-World; Emory Alliance Credit Union; Smoke Rise Agents
Team; Abatak; Gwinnett Medical Center Foundation; Bullseye Auction and
Appraisal; and Grub Burger.

Registration is open now, with prices ranging from $175 for an individual player
to $600 for a foursome. Sponsorships are available ranging from $500 for a hole
sponsor to $5,000 for a gold sponsorship which includes registration for three
foursomes and prominent corporate signage. For registration, sponsorship and

About FODAC
Friends of Disabled Adults and Children (FODAC) helps people with injuries and disabilities of all ages
regain their mobility, independence and quality of life. The non-profit organization provides more than
$10 million annually in refurbished home medical equipment (HME) and home modifications in Georgia
and across the United States, all at little or no cost to the recipients. A pioneer in re-use, FODAC keeps
350 tons of materials out of landfills each year by refurbishing and reissuing over 700 HME items every
month, and is recognized nationally for best practices. Since 2014, FODAC has maintained a 4-star
rating, the highest, with Charity Navigator, a charity watch dog agency that cites charities that maintain
operating overhead under 5%.

In 2013, Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) appointed FODAC to serve as the
statewide distributor of HME and assistive technology in the event of a large population-affecting
emergency situation. In this role, FODAC will warehouse the HME and other equipment, then, working
with GEMA and the American Red Cross (ARC) of Georgia, will coordinate the delivery and distribution
to emergency shelters around the state.
