We came for a pediatric wheelchair. We have been unsuccessful in getting what our son needs due to bureaucracy of insurance companies and vendors thinking just about the money and not the child. I came here and they were friendly, and helpful and non-intimidating.

Sabrina had surgery on Feb. 20, 2012 and has t0 use a wheelchair for a short time. Unfortunately, we were unable to find a pediatric chair. Thanks to FODAC we were able to get one where she could resume daily activities.

He loves to go to the park and to the mall and with his new walker from FODAC he can walk around every place he goes.

I’m very thankful and excited about the modifications made to my house. I love my ramp too, Danny Overstreet helped build. My new ramp gives me peace of mind knowing if I had a fire I now have a way out, and I can also get my mail. In the past, I would depend on others to bring my mail in or it would sit in my box for a week.

I feel by my 4-year-old daughter having the use of a wheelchair, (it) will pr0vide her with some feeling of mobility and (allow her to) go where her big sisters are. As a family, we will be able to continue doing things together.

Gave pediatric bath seat and manual wheelchair: The chair given to her at age 1 is too small. Med. have adjusted the chair as much as they can and it is just too small.

These items are helping him with standing and strengthen his legs and muscle tone. Preparing him to start walking.

I am sure that Jose’ Manuel and his Mom will have a much easier time thanks to a real wheel chair.

I want to thank you for helping us this week. It was a huge blessing to have the perfect chair in time for the child’s arrival. The case manager was able to greet her at the airport with it. She is eight years old and she has never had a wheel chair before. I really appreciate the diligence and kindness of your staff.

Kaylee Hildebrandt using her positioning chair from FODACToday we picked up two items that Kaylee needs desperately, a lightweight stroller and a positioning chair. The stroller will be such an asset during public outings (and saves Mom and Dad’s back) and since Kaylee homeschools, the chair will be used for school work and feeding time.

I need the bath chair because it is better when Xochitl takes a bath because the old one is too small. It is beautiful. The wheelchair she is in is too small and not comfortable. The new wheelchair will be better.

At recess during school, Journee is not able to play with the equipment. By having a hand-propelled trike, Journeewill be able to play and socialize with her peers. Being able to play will give Journee a lot more confidence with herself.

Kenneth “Chip” needed a small nimble chair so he can access things at home better. Now he can get his chair into his bathroom by himself. He will have more independence.
