Say Goodbye to Limited Mobility

Vehicle adaptive equipment makes limited mobility a thing of the past. However, for many disabled clients and their families, the cost of vehicle adaptations are prohibitive and often are not covered by insurance. FODAC’s vehicle modification program, Operation ReMount, installs equipment such as scooter hitch lifts, full size van lifts, 4-point tie downs and more on your car for minimal cost.

We remove adaptive equipment from vehicles at no cost and then refurbish and reinstall that equipment on another client’s vehicle for a very low price. While we do accept donated hand controls, we cannot install them. We can, however, connect families interested in that service with a capable vendor.

If you’re looking for adaptive equipment or have some to donate, contact us today to learn more about Operation Remount.

“This equipment (Rifton prone stander) will be extremely helpful for my son. The location is very convenient and they were prompt about getting the equipment for me. I was not able to get the equipment so fast anywhere else. The use of the equipment was explained to me very well.”
