About the Southeastern Assistive Technology Access and Reuse Network (STAR)
The Southeastern Assistive Technology Access and ReUse Network (STAR), serves individuals with disabilities by increasing access to Assistive Technology (AT), Computers and Home/Durable Medical Equipment (DME). FODAC is an Enterprise Depot - providing equipment, training, delivery and equipment pickups throughout Georgia. This program promotes increased independence and more participation in education, the workplace, and the community in underserved regions of Georgia and the Southeast.
The STAR Network establishes and identifies partnerships in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi. FODAC is currently delivering needed equipment to: Athens, Augusta, Bainbridge, Brunswick, Columbus, Conyers, Macon, Rome, Savannah, Warm Springs, and Greenville, SC. The STAR Network focuses on accepting donated equipment, evaluating equipment, repairing and sanitizing equipment, distributing and matching the client's need and promoting equipment training.
